What – Ethiopian Cultural Holidays (there will be video presentation of the Holidays)
Children – There will be different activities for children
Ages 0-4 – There will be child care
Ages 4-9 – There will be Ethiopian cultural games using videos; we will teach them at least two different games (we have brought many different children games from Ethiopia)
Fee – $25 per family

Other Upcoming Programs
We are preparing to establish an Ethiopian adoptive children community (Children Friendship Community) in 2012. The main goal of this program is to bring the adopted children together and help be more aware of their origin. The community will also allow them, in the future, to answer a very important question of their life, which is “who am I?” This means our adoptive family program will focus more on the adopted children, while still also teaching more about the Ethiopian culture to the adoptive parents.
We are expecting to offer this children community program twice per month. This means every other Saturday there will be different activities for children in our church including Language for children, different Ethiopian cultural games, cultural children songs, traditional stories, holiday celebration and many other cultural activities.
